How to use the seating chart maker

  1. Paste your class list. Use one student name per line. Names are processed only in your browser.
  2. Choose the room layout. Use rows, pairs, pods/tables, or a U-shape.
  3. Add only the seating needs that matter. You can keep students apart, place a supportive peer nearby, favor a clear board view, provide aisle access, or choose a lower-distraction location.
  4. Create three options. Pick the one you like, drag students to make small changes, and lock placements you want to keep before reshuffling.
  5. Use or save the chart. Switch between teacher and student view, use full-screen mode, or print/save the chart as a PDF.
